RECEPTION OPENING HOURS

The Reception is open as follows:

Monday & Wednesday 8.00am-8.00pm
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.00am-7.00pm
Saturday: 9.00am-1.30pm

Thursday afternoon surgeries are for pre-booked routine appointments only. There is a receptionist on duty to deal with queries and the ordering/collection of prescriptions and to also make appointments. Patients needing urgent medical attention should contact the Out of Hours Service.

Monday 8am - 12.30 pm and 4.30 - 7.40 pm
Tuesday 8am - 12.00 noon and 2.30 - 6.30 pm
Wednesday 8am - 12.30 pm and 4.30 - 7.40 pm
Thursday 8am - 12.00 noon and 2.30 - 4.30 pm
Friday 8am - 12.00 noon and 2.30 - 6.30 pm
Saturday 9.15am - 12.00 noon

If circumstances occur which are beyond our control appointment times may be subject to change.

APPOINTMENT SYSTEM

An appointment system operates at this surgery and all appointments should be made in advance by telephoning or visiting the Reception during opening hours. You can also now book some appointments online.

We aim to offer a routine GP appointment within 48 hours of your request. However, we cannot guarantee you will be seen by the doctor of your choice.

EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS

Emergency appointments are for patients who need urgent medical attention.  You may be seen initially by the Triage Nurse who will consult with the doctor if necessary.

If an emergency appointment is needed please contact the Practice as early as possible during surgery hours.

TELEPHONE TIME WITH YOUR DOCTOR OR NURSE

A surgery doctor is available on a daily basis between 9.30am to 12 noon to answer phone calls from patients who need advice. Doctor may ask you to make an appointment to be seen.

If you wish to speak with the Practice Nurse, please telephone the surgery as early as possible during surgery hours. The receptionist will give your details to the nurse who will contact you as soon as she is able.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS/DID NOT ATTEND

Each month up to 150 appointments go to waste. Should you be unable to attend or no longer need to attend PLEASE, PLEASE, remember to cancel your appointment in good time to enable us to offer it to someone else. It is Practice Policy to review the registration of Patients who continually fail to attend their appointments ultimately resulting in removal from the Practice list.
